This is the official blog for The Irrational Agency – a new partnership set up by two London-based researchers that aims to integrate theories and findings from behavioural economics and cognitive psychology with market research methods to provide more intelligent solutions for clients.
Leigh is a behavioural economist and pricing specialist, and developed the Desire-Strategy-Choice cognitive model which underlies our work. He is author of the Knowing and Making blog, and The Psychology Of Price, published in June 2012.
Elina is a researcher specialising in consumer psychology and branding in cross-cultural environments, with a number of years commercial experience in market research.
The Irrational Agency builds on the work of Inon Pricing Research Centre and expands the services to all stages of the consumer decision making process. We are presenting our latest research at the 2012 conferences of the International Association of Cross-Cultural Psychology and the International Congress of Psychology in South Africa, and our cognitive model will also be presented at the International Conference on Thinking in London this July.
